Dwarf Fortress

The Language Overhaul

Mod Compatibility
This mode is not compatible with most of other modes impacting entities due to:
[CUT_ENTITY:MOUNTAIN] [ENTITY:MOUNTAIN]
Could you consider using
[SELECT_ENTITY:MOUNTAIN] [GO_TO_TAG:...]
instead?

I just ran into this issue. All custom workshops are no longer available because of the change to Mountain reference.

Same thing, the mod is conflicting with another mod Iron to Steel if loaded after that mod. I believe it affect any mod that make changes to Mountain entity. I don't know how would you do a possible fix, but maybe you should specify that the mod should go BEFORE any other mods or something like that. A simple tag that says it should be loaded after vanilla_languages is not enough.

Thank you for this feedback, niemst! I wasn't aware of GO_TO_TAG, hence the crude implementation. I will look into using GO_TO_TAG, but in the meantime just load the mod before any mod that changes entities, as I've also written in the description.

I eagerly await the addition of Go_To tags!

I've tried, but I can't get them to work sadly. I think they might not work for entities. If anyone has any examples of it working then I'd be very interested. If you load the language overhaul before any mods that affect the mountain entity, you will get more abstract dwarf civilisation names and some minor other things, but your game will be functional.

If you haven’t already, there are some brilliant and knowledgeable people on the Kitfox Diecord

This mod conflicts with 'Stoneworking Expanded', removing all the items that require the modded blocks to construct. Mod Order doesn't seem to fix this at all.

That's strange. Have you tried loading stone working expanded after the language overhaul and no other mods installed?
Unfortunate, this mod conflicts with Topples' Halflings as well as Additional Races: Erinyes. Both races will no generate names, only nicknames.
