example mods DSS and Buildable AETN (Unholyrage)
Something so that at least when a dupe is issued a "move here" command and once they get to that location, you can actually see what's poppin'.
Afaik this mod contains "Shiny Hats" already, just use Miners or Science hats and they should shine. No battery power is planned at this point
Hi can we get an update? The latest patch broke your wonderful mod :(
My main reason to want this change is that currently, lights "leak" through 1-tile floors.
Currently setting the value to 0 insta-crashes the game if a world is loaded.
If I am planning a bigger structure several tiles high and wide within an already discovered region, I still need a dupe next to the ghost images of the planned structures to see them clearly ( and to find possible mistakes in my planning ). Without a dupe around, the ghosts are too dim to see them ( without headaches ).
Therefore I can't plan a structure during dupes' bedtime. And I have to turn the lights globally on ... allowing me a unwanted glimpse on the surroundings. This ruins the fun and the purpose of this great mod.

Btw: Bionics are completely ignoring the mod. Their mining hats are not equipped with lights. They don't get a debuf in darkness. And they reveal the regular radius of tiles around them. Only the visuals for the overseer ( *me* ) are effected: The same effect could be achieved by fiddling with the monitor's brightness 🤪
