Prefab Module Suggestions
I'd love to know if people think this system needs more modules to make it more flexible.
If anyone has any suggestions, leave them here. I will make no promises. But If something is doable, and would make for a really good addition, then I might add it. And the more existing parts I can reuse, the easier it would be to make of course.

I have had more ideas of course. At one point I was trying out a hangar module. But it didn't quite work out with this system of modules.

So, is there a particular module you're missing and desperately need? Any module that you think could make things more varied? Suggest them here!

More large interior rooms would be great
Maybe sets of vents or exterior parts like walkways, walls, landing pads, etc
And an open-air stairway you could use for roof access

All great ideas. When I feel the itch to make more modules I'll definitely take this into account.

Right now you can use the current stairways for roof access. It'll just have a roof over the stairs itself. Of course you can just land on the flat roof. But you're right that a landing pad specifically for that purpose would be really cool. I did think about potential hangar modules. But I couldn't get it to look right since hangars need to be really big to be useful to landing ships in. A landing pad on top might be a good alternative solution.

Vents is something I had thought about before, but I couldn't really figure out a good way to properly implement them that I was satisfied with. If I put vents into the existing modules, then I'd have to add extra height on the top or bottom. But if I add vent modules that go in between floors then that also takes up a lot of space. I'll definitely give it more thought to see if I can't come up with a good solution.

Exterior walkways is something I haven't thought about. But it's a really cool idea. Could be really cool and useful for higher floor levels. I'm already getting ideas on how I would do this.

If you or anyone else have more suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
an air defense module

Hm, you mean like a roof unit with a turbo laser tower? Or a room with turbo laser controls? Or perhaps both. Hadn't thought about that before.
In terms of a cool base or ship it could certainly be cool as an addition, yeah.

I'm not a coder though, so I could make a model for a turbo laser, but it wouldn't be functional. That's something someone else would have to do. I do have a generic hallway with some consoles on the wall. But I suppose even just some more control room options could be useful that people could use to build upon for some type of air defense control room.

Doing both sounds pretty good, it also depends on the turbo laser you plan to use. I also saw that someone suggested making this mod compatible with the track assembly tool

Well, I'd have to make a turbo laser. But a relatively small one since it would have to fit onto a module. I was trying out some things with roof modules, but I wasn't quite satisfied yet.
A suitable control room that can be used for various things is probably a lot easier and faster to make since I already have usable console models I made before. I will definitely keep it in mind for potential future updates.

No clue what I'd have to do to make it compatible with the track assembly tool you mentioned though.
