very odd bug report.
after installing this mod, i wasnt able to see the curse symbols even after the compatability with minimapAPI was fixed.
i dont know if this is an intentional effect but every single floor was cursed.
upon uninstalling this mod to maybe fix things, my game literally would not launch without it crashing at a white screen after the intro and before seeing the save file menu (regardless of if i skipped it or not)
after reinstalling the mod, it allowed the game to load in to the save file screen and i was able to disable the mod, which also allowed my game to continue to work. super weird bug but i guess im not allowed to play without it installed now

Super odd indeed. Would you mind sending over your log file via pastebin if it happens again? I'll send it over to Catto and he can figure out what the issue is from there. (The file should be in Documents > My Games > The Binding of Isaac Repentance)

i disabled the mod and uninstalled it before launching the game and i guess that somehow fixed it. super weird that it even occurred to begin with lol. ill have to revisit the mod when that bug regarding the icon not showing is fixed. thanks for taking the time to look into this regardless!

no problem! if I had to guess from your description alone, your install might've been borked (blame the workshop, that stuff tends to happen)

If you don't mind, could you send over a list of the mods you use? If the icons aren't showing up properly on your end, there may be an incompatibility we don't know about

sure thing! question, how do i do that, lol? just a screenshot? or is there a way to through steam?

Unfortunately, since Isaac has no mod launcher or easy way to quickly check what mods are enabled, you might just have to type them out manually if you can't get them all in a single screenshot. That, or make a collection on the workshop.

Cumbersome, I know, but with no log file we can't easily pinpoint the problem without knowing what you have enabled :(

Had the same issue with freezing after uninstalling the mod. doing a clean install of minimap api fixed it for me, hope this helps.

Game stops and no longer launches if you disable this mod while having any mod which adds custom curses.
- The easiest way is to remove the disable.it file from the trapdoor mod folder and then ingame disable it with all other mods that add custom curses.

after that you can safely enable other mods
