Where I’ve been?And Why do a dating sim mod?
Where I've been?
I didn’t feel like putting it in the main steam page so I decided to put a discussion here to explain it.
Basically school got in the way and now volunteering somewhere another side of the world has cut my free time significantly to do stuff.
Not only that but I was working on other smaller projects that lead nowhere (that I don’t want to talk about).
After some time (November-ish) I saw the TDateMod discord server and noticed how there was no active coder, so I decided to join it.

Why?
Now, to be honest, I do feel a lot of self-cringe to think that I am making this, whoever most of my motivation to code this mod relies upon the extreme and ruthless difficulty I've been having to code this. So now this has become a fight between my patience and knowledge to the point that even the smallest of successes feels like a great accomplishement, which keeps me motivated to keep going.

This mods reminds me of the Minecraft Comes Alive mod. I used to play that game with said mod with my sister, this brings back happy memories, so thank you für this. (The only downside is the derangement happening in the main comment section)

Thanks, yeah, most of the stuff about this mod I’m making right now is based upon that, however, the team has plans to turn it more into a dating sim rather than keeping it like Minecraft comes alive

No need to feel cringe about it. You are learning code, creating something, making people happy and not harming anyone. Congrats on your good job and take your time, Terraria is here for a decade and it will still be for more to go :3
