Hey guys! Is it possible to add the ability when using dev mode to just place the structure instead of having to order it in?

That's already doable using KCSG's dev mode commands. It also can be done using this mod's mod options

Is it possible to do it without the prefab box? Bypassing the colonist placement entirely? like placing the blueprint, or the square for the fab. Having troubles finding the KCSG dev mode commands you mentioned. I already have the option enabled to order from the furniture tab but was wondering if there was a faster way than ordering, placing and then opening.

Dev Mode -> Open Debug Actions Menu -> On the far right, Quickspawn

So I have several idea, but they all start off a idea similar to Blueprints.

I love the blueprints mod, but there's no way that I know of to save Blueprints across saves. I'd love to be able to make my own prefabs, save them, and be able to select and buy them in another playthrough.

My next idea is a bit bigger, but another use I could see is sharing prefab "codes" with other players if the "make your own prefab" idea works, be it through discord or multiplayer mods like Phinix. Provided both people have the mods.

My third idea is probably the most outlandish, but I think it's still worth mentioning. If you do add a system for making our own blueprints, what about a system like how Real Ruins has for base? players can upload blueprints to a hub server, and then either download 50-100 random ones, or use a basic filter selection to download 10-15 based on your currently downloaded modlist.

For the blueprints mod, Right click on the blueprint you want to save and then hit export. To bring it into your next game, right click on create in the blueprint tab and click on the named blueprint.

These are not prefab suggestions, these are "spend a few more months doing a completely different mod" and I'm not very interested in doing that :)

How about a prefab of a big concrete bunker outfitted with a barracks, crafting room, freezer for food, research lab, storage and a full nutrient paste system? Basically a pre-built bunker for a large group.

Would it be possible to allow for Enemies to use Prefabs eventually. I'm so tired of most non-modded factions or hunt bases just being a solar panel and 2 basic turrets with a bunch of mismatched boxes storing 30 guys in spacer tech. Since this mod opens a lot of viability for raiding others with some of the military prefabs, it would be nice to bulk up the enemies in return.

Theres no storage/warehouse prefabs? I would be happy to make some for you if you need them. But I would like the idea to be able to just use storage prefabs.

Also, this might be out of your scope but have you considered integration with the Blueprints mod?

The ability to raid other settlements with the prefabs. Right now I get a mortar emplacement my own guys will attack it.
unsure if anyone other than me would use it, but i'd really like to get access to prefabs that are *just* the furniture and such, and not structural walls.
because i tend to play a lot of mountain bases, and while i'd love to just dig out the exact dimensions i need and slot in the prefab, it kinda clashes to have wooden walls suddenly in the middle of my pristine marble cave complex?

What about incorporating a way to acquire the prefabs for a medieval playthrough, I’m just kinda spitballin but maybe a carrier pigeon post instead of the computer desk. Additionally adding tech constraints to the available prefabs.
