[DFE] Departure from Eden

A quick story about how and why DFE came about.
A quick story:
When working collaboratively on a project with a team of people there can be alot of competing ideas and aspirations regarding the direction said project may lead. When EWE started to become neglected there were a few of us who took on various parts while also adding in our take on a few things.

While there was always talk of an updated EWE by zacrron the first actually publicly released version came as an update in the form of EWE Beta. DrunkenEwok took up the torch on that one and he loved to adding in hyper-realistic parameters to elements obtained from refining ores and many, many more ideas but always struggled to bring them to life due to working on his own.

I have spent a good deal of time porting most of those changes from EWE beta into DFE, however that being said... I say most because one of the things Ewok and I would disagree on was just how much hyper-realism actually contributed to the overall game experience. Therefore I've always had my own private branch of EWE where I made small changes that I found would enrich my experience throughout my survival playthroughs.

Therefore, with Departure from Eden I am striving to continue on the foundation of what Geneticus, zacrron and DrunkenEwok (and many others) started by attempting to make exploration and mining fun and relevant again. Removing players from the monotony of base building and instead have it be a notable feat requiring more engagement from the player with so many more various components to consider. I want to continue in the steps of enriching the Space Engineers experience while also not having it be too overwhelming.

My main contribution to the EWE team has always been community outreach and guidance. I built the EWE Wiki and added in many details to the Ores Spreadsheet to make it readable for the average player. I've always wanted to bridge the gap between the player and curators and being a player myself I above everything want to make this a fun mod for everyone to enjoy.

With that being said I'm always open to the idea having more people help out. I'm looking for a couple people who can play a specific role with the continued development of this mod but even if your just a player - having someone who has played EWE in really great for having someone to bounce ideas off of and help me with testing new versions.

Worth noting I'm also looking for someone who'd be willing to make a youtube survival series. I'd be willing to assist and sponsor them in doing so. Not only do I think this would help new players get the ropes but also expose more people to this mod because I do really think it's a hidden gem that not many people know about.
