What to power the Geiger Counter with?

I'm confused? It says to power it? Most about Scrap mechanic is to power things by gas or electric or by controller.... What do I need to do to power it?

You need a battery container fill it with batteries and connect it to the Geiger Counter.

Just forgot, you also need a switch to turn on the Geiger Counter.
