Oil. I REALLY NEED HELP! CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY THIS IS HAPPENING?
Still not able to find an oil pond/puddle I have been looking for one EVERYWHERE I have not found one for the past days so I decided to use /fly, STILL NOT ABLE TO FIND ONE I DON'T GET IT I FOUND ONE IN MY FRIEND'S WORLD SUPER EASILY AND IF I'M NOT WRONG WE FOUND IT ON THE WAY TO THE HQ AND ON MY WORLD I'M EXPLORING THE MINE WHY CAN'T I FIND AN OIL POND/PUDDLE?

I just went into another world and I found 2 oil pond's/puddle's using /fly within a minute...

Unfortunately, that sounds like Base game RNG shenanigans. In my original world for SMS when they introduced the oil ponds, the closest one to my base was literally 20 real world minutes travel time away. And I only ever found one other pond in that world and it was even further. I feel for you H.

In my CL:S1 map, I have yet to find a desert tile with one. I have searched at least 3 so far. (But I cannot complain much. Right behind Bill on my world is a huge lake/ocean, an autumn biome, and at night I can see the faint flickering of a burnt biome on the horizon.)

I was asking for help because others were finding their oil between bill's house and the HQ
(I found one between the mine and bill's house)
