I found the antenna and I picked up the floppy disk without doing a scan and then "investigating the strange signal". This led me to have to go back and forth from Bill's house to the antenna multiple times before I watched a video and found the difference. Not a big deal, but maybe could be a good idea to allow people to skip a part of the quest/quests if they get further ahead.
