Feedback collection
Since the mod author explicitly asked for feedback, I think it only makes sense to start a feedback collection thread. And I'll even go first:

1. I love the mod and for the life of me cannot understand why this functionality was never included in vanilla. Especially when it comes to movement commands, this mod offers by far the best way to accurately tell your AI lancemates where to go.

2. The number one feature I would like to see added is the ability to direct airstrikes via the map. As is, airstrikes are borderline useless (outside the early game, perhaps) due to the clumsy targeting mechanic and you needing LOS. I would love to start a beachhead mission by dropping some bombs on those pesky artillery batteries, rather than having to waddle all the way across the map before I can even target them, by which point it is simply faster to just use the guns on my mech, anyway.

3. Other improvements: If possible, I would love some way of determining distances via the map, so I can outrange static defenses reliably. Some of Coyote's missions have very painful turrets and precisely positioning my LRM boats/snipers just outside their range would be a huge boon.

4. Bugs: I have encountered two types of bugs related to mouse control when using the battle grid. Even with the latest mod version, occasionally after opening and closing the map, I can no longer aim my weapons with the mouse, as the cursor remains tied to the battle grid. However, this can be fixed by re-opening and closing the map again, after which controls are restored to normal functionality. While this has been an issue for a while, I feel like it has become less common since the mod's Apr 29 update.
Another bug I have run into just once and only in the latest mod version was when I opened the battle grid and my cursor was permanently stuck in the top left corner, unable to move. No amount of opening/closing changed that and the battle grid was essentially reduced to vanilla functionality. Fortunately, restarting the game remedied the issue.
