Most likely not, it can be seen as more of a memorial as a "simple immature joke."

Anytime I use this map, the first thing I do is recreate 9/11, so you can get offended all you want. I do not care. :)

They made the twin towers because its a tower in new yolk (EGGS).

And there remaking new yolk (EGGS).

So yeah that's most likely why.
