You need research level 3, and it costs 10 books.
Tools are not working either to remove them.
The person infected needs to use the antidote, as if it was a tool.
It doesnt work if it is another person to do it
The infected character has to be the one to use the antidote, and it works like a regular tool.
If I remember correctly (haven’t played Kenshi in a while):
1º - Select the infected character (must be under your control — you can't use the antidote on NPCs).
2º - Make sure they have an antidote in their inventory.
3º - Open the infection panel and click "use tools."
That should do it.
