So about the behaviour of Groups whom are aware of the new threat....

Even thought you said it's preferred to "let mission makers decide", I see a LOT of potential in your mod to become also an "auto managing" AI mod

So, if there could some tweaking settings like "Auto Pursuit behavior ON/OFF", as also custom distances for that, it would become a great, great feature...

I'm a Unit leader, and the problem of a good mod that could properly engage QRF forces, has always been there, and with no solution to it

As I said, LAMBS just make groups lay down and "think" they are engaging a close threat, even if 2 kilometers away (distance in which the "has radio" function passes the information)

You said that your EP mod could be used in conjuction with this one to make that pursuit... But it has to be manually done by Zeus, and with solo players, or dynamic MP missions that do not require Curator, that can't just be done

So if the EP mod could automatically work along, in ways to not compromise performance (as it's description warns about), being automatically assigned to all info shared groups — and unassigned after threat is delt with, or beyond reaction range — I think it would pretty much solve the equation...

My mod Efficient Pursuit provides a function to enable auto pursuit on specified groups at any time during a mission. Later you can turn off auto pursuit on a group by adding it into the blacklist. All groups in each side share pursuit distance, which can be configured in addon settings.

Do you want the EP to work automatically on ALL info sharing groups? The problem is that some groups should not pursue enemies. It depends on mission settings and I cannot programmatically determine whether or not a group should pursue.

If you just want all groups to pursue targets automatically, simply turn on the AutoStart mode for that side. If there will be new units spawned by zeus or script after mission start during a mission, also specify a Repeat Interval, so EP will check any new groups on the map every XXX seconds and enable those groups to pursue.

The warning against AutoStart mode is just a reminder for those who may turn on AutoStart mode under any circumstances. If you don't need any groups to strictly follow their waypoints, you can turn it on. And as long as the Reevaluation Interval parameters is not too small, there is not going to be performance issues.

i don't know whether its something you would even consider but this honestly could evolve into something like a fully AI high command, info sharing is one thing but if you went all the way and made it so a group of ai groups could act independently without the need for a zeus or scripted mission to work together to fight would be the coolest thing ever.
