so when i try to start the game with hugyoucolors mod i get this crash:

your fix worked like a charm, tough i did run into some other small issues. you seem to have forgotten to add the choice for support character in custom runs causing them to default to random (first custom run test was with defect and got ironclad, second run test was ironclad and got watcher as support). there is also an incompatability with the loadout mod i use where it wont see the hybrid cards (the one i use is from here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2814267979&searchtext=loadout
