Would it be possible to make books/magazines partly readable and gain part of the boredom/stress/unhappiness buff that they give? EG: Book has 50 pages, and gives 50 happiness, you read 25 pages, get 25 happiness, and 25 left.

similar to how smoker mod handles smoking cigarettes, if you interrupt the smoking mid way through the cigarette stress relief is drained by a proportional amount

I kinda don't want to stop the player from reading at all with no light, as weird as that sounds. That said, I could compromise and do something like -20% read speed.

Could be a toggle-able sandbox option? I say this with no real knowledge of how to code, outside of editing lua/xml etc, babby stuff, so no idea how easy or hard this stuff is, so I apologise if im doing big asks lol

Any chance we can get sandbox options to Increase or decrease the speed of reading based on skill level? I love this mod, but for multiplayer I'm having a difficult time using it because it seems to conflict with mods that increase reading speeds.

There is a server setting in the INI tab under 'Other' called 'MinutesPerPage' that you can use to adjust the base reading speed without downloading any 'faster reading' mod.

By default it is set to 1.00 (One minute per page), with smaller values increasing the reading speed and larger values decreasing it. E.I: A value of 2.00 will require two minutes per page and a value of 0.50 will require half a minute per page.

Traits affecting reading speed will take effect AFTER this value.
