Changes coming!
There was recently a playtest for Orifice in an environment of mappers, and with careful consideration of all the feedback gathered I'll be adjusting many aspects of Orifice, to elevate the level's layout legibility, refine chokepoints and adjust hostage parameters to list a few.

An update this size will take some time and care; but will come out in the next few weeks!

I bet it's awesome man! I'd definitely consider fine tuning the lighting to make it more "warm" in the building and add colder colors outside of the building much like the current office, I think office nails the lighting. Hope this feedback improves the maps atmosphere. Also I did bring up that the sounds stop working after the first round of each match, not sure if that's intentional or not, hope it's fixed. This map is seriously awesome, hope my feedback helps in some way. I love hostage mode a lot and community maps help out a ton knowing we only got like 2 hostage maps in cs2. Thanks Zack, I'll definitely do a full sweep of everything before releasing the new version, including looking into and fixing that audio issue. Was distracted with several things irl and small projects but im returning to putting out Orifice v2. There are already large changes to the map, so also adjusting time of day and the like may be on the table.

Dude that's awesome to hear, good luck with your irl stuff man and your small projects. Not sure if this is a lot to ask, wonder if you could do a callback to CSS's office in terms of the general atmosphere while mixing it with how the new office is in terms of having warm lighting indoors and colder lighting outdoors. I think it'd make the map cozy lmao
