The mighty Zeeennn Dynasty.

Kingdom of Perisno faction.

Great Knights and Ranger Knights OP. Champions are pretty decent infantry and the Rune Archers are solid.
green elves used to be, not sure since new factions were added but elves are still strong. dwarfs are weakest by my estimation

Depends on the situation. Elintor has great archers, like the Crimson Rangers, so trying to take a Fort or Town they're defending can be very painful. Troops with good shields are not optional. The weakest faction is Aroulo. No cavalry, poor armor and poor weapons, a triple threat. :P Great for farming XP. The best? Falcon is probably the best, it's difficult to play as them, however, as it's not possible to recruit Falcon troops from villages, even if you're a member of their faction, which I don't really understand the reason for. The RP reason they gave for non faction recruitment makes a little sense, but it makes zero sense for those who join their faction.

You recruit falcon units from castles and towns. Realm of the Falcon only have noble troops. Requires reputation 40 and to be part of their faction in some way. Changing your kingdom's culture over to Falcon requires 70 rep with Realm of the Falcon and a high rep with the Marshall as well (I don't remember the number).

their top tier infantry is really really tought, only problem is they are usually not around long enough to field alot of them.

@Waiting for Meursault Yeah, I know about both of those. The culture only affects your vassals, you're still not able to get Falcon peasants, according to the boards. It says there's also a cost of 1 million aurums. :P

Zaan from what I've heard.

That's only people fussing about the sheer numbers when they first arrive. I would compare them to the Sarranids, honestly. They have some units that are OK, but every other faction has at least one unit that out performs their Zann counterpart.

I was highly annoyed by the Zann at first, but then discovered that Zann = $$$$, and now I farm them. The only unit of theirs that I respect to any degree, are the Emperor's Defenders (or whatever they're called) who can kill my Renweards. The Zann die by the droves with a decent set up allowing your archers to blast them. For some reason, they don't believe in shields.

I find all of them unique and strong depends of how you manage their army :]

Kaikoth Seekers = Pain in the ass
Kaikoth Elder Seekers = God I hope you got a shield for these one

Kaikoth Mountain Keepers, or whatever infantry is it, can easily surround and stunlock you, if crossbowmen got their six. They're also have the best armor in all game (excluding Perisno Troops or Hired Troops) and surprisingly their aim is really good. I mean, I was fighting against them with Falconians (481 Falconians vs 342 Kaikoth), and yet I was the only one who survived in this battle. REALLY the onliest one. No one else, all ally knights and horse archers were destroyed, because Elder Seekers shot their horses first.

Kaikoth also is pretty neat when defending in sieges: Heavy Armored Troops just camping a ladder, while their crossbowmen oneshoting everyone else. Dwarven Crossbow have the highest damage (70 or something like that) in game, and they're shooting axebolts at you (+15 damage).
I was wearing a really heavy armor, and yet they were dealing me 20 damage per shot if I even dared to turn my back to them.

Dude, I don't even play Mount & Blade: Warband anymore. Why'd you bump this thread?

@Vipo24 I get the feeling you're talking about the Axebow with their special bolts, those are actually inferior to Dwarven Crossbows, which are repeating crossbows, as one reload = three shots. The dwarven bolts that go with them are +20 damage. The combo makes them especially deadly, and a favorite of mine for custom hired troops. Elintor is now one of the toughest factions with the upgrades to Sentinels and Wardens, and Tolrania seems weakest, now that Aroulo got a big buff. Aroulo now has cavalry, shields, and better infantry.
