Currently testing a new gunpod setup that will utilize a single pivot per pod to aim the cannons up/down across the Y axis following where the pilot is looking. This has been significantly more work than it is probably worth but I am happy to say I have made from what I can tell the first ever pivoting gunpod that communicates through a hardpoint on stormworks. It can communicate via the EHCS hardpoint computer to display ammo count and name but unfortunately uses its own FCU using the 4 key to arm pivot 5 to arm guns but still uses space as trigger. it can still be jettisoned as normal via ehcs monitor. lmk if anyone has input on this system or suggestions/objections

as it seems you're pretty dedicated to survivability, may i suggest adding some emergency inflatable life rafts? only needs a single button for up to like, 6 3-man rafts, or maybe you could even have an auto-deployment system when it hits water. could be cool.

I think an inflatable life raft would be pretty neat, it was one of the first things I looked at when I got stormworks. Unfortunately to my understanding the inflatable life rafts are a game addon and need to be enabled at the world save settings level and I cannot offer support for the mod without requiring it for the helicopter. I can look into implementing a blank switch/button that could support something like that
most of my time rn has been spent on my new fully original dedicated attack helicopter but I will see what I could do about adding a blank switch for inflates or whatever on the ah6

yeah, ILR is an addon. but you don't NEED it to use a craft that has life-rafts, the button just won't do anything.
