List and Breakdown of Alternative Mods
Recommended alternative mods

A short list of mods that covers pretty much any use-case I can think of in case you don't like how this mod works. I picked the ones that I believed were the best for their particular usage, in no particular order.

If you want to carry more, but don't want to outright cheat
Dynamic Backpack Upgrades by Dr. Lalaoz
Upgrade any backpack or wearable container with a tiered system that costs resources to make. Has a bunch of settings to tweak it to your liking! Suffers from the backpack limitation (see description for a detailed rundown of why).

If you prefer backpacks with 100% weight reduction
Infinite Portable Containers: Modded Edition by PenguBlue
Makes all containers (even modded!) have 100% weight reduction and 500000 weight capacity. Suffers from the backpack limitation (see description for a detailed rundown of why).

If you want a permanent infinite inventory via trait... or other goodies
Easy mod for relaxing gameplay by Garlin
Grants the player Unlimited Carryweight toggle from the debug menu via a trait that costs 15 points. Has a bunch of other cheaty/quality of life mods bundled into it that you can enable or disable as you like. Suffers from the fact that if you're going to outright cheat, you might as well just start the game in debug, enable Unlimited Carryweight, then disable debug without toggling Unlimited Carryweight off. Also only affects the player's inventory, not containers, so at some point you will experience a ton of lag from carrying everything if you don't utilize storage... and if you do, you'll need a lot of containers.

If you want this mod, but with more fine-tuning
Magical Extra Storage Space by mille
Pretty much the exact same as this mod, except it allows you to reduce weight in increments of 5, 10, 20, and 100 units. Requires Duct Tape instead of Twigs/Scrap wood to make the item. Suffers from context menu bloat when right clicking Duct Tape and when changing the increment per item. In my opinion, the fine-tuning isn't really necessary as 100 units covers most scenarios and keeps the context menu bloat to a minimum.

If you just want (almost) everything to weigh nothing
Everything Weighs Nothing by Elyrith
No mucking with context menus, no new items added. Nice and simple as every item is set to weigh nothing. Even modded items will work. Unfortunately suffers from the fact that drainables are not affected. This includes any item when it is holding a liquid (water bottles, cooking pots with water, gas cans, etc) and other items whose weight is affected by how full it is (propane torches, propane tanks, etc). Possibly also either ignores or negatively affects fish, as I believe their nutrition values are based at least partially on their weight.

If you want a context-menu-only based solution, no recipes
Weight Void Custom - B41.6X MP/SP by FluffySnakes
The same as this mod, but you add the item purely through the context menu. Suffers from the same limitations my mod does, plus it increases bloat to all inventory context menus. Does not allow you delete the item aside from dropping it on the ground, though this throws an error. As far as I know, the error shouldn't affect the game negatively overall.
