The math for inheriting one God's bloodline

***Chances to inherit will never be affected by vanilla traits, perks or legacies. This is it. :O

***This only applies to any rule's options like "____ ____ Only!" "Every character" option will use vanilla genetic mechanics.

I won't make it impossible to mix two bloodlines from the Greek pantheon. But, I will stop you from trying to have a kid between Athena and Poseidon. The same goes for the Roman Pantheon. Click here to see why some traits won't mix :p

I will also stop you from trying to mix pantheons. NO MERCY BETWEEN EAST AND WEST ;)

Here's a scenario for you:

If you have an "Exalted Blood - Mars" father and a "Blood of Legend - Venus" Mother, the kid can inherit both traits. But, it will run calculations per trait. It will not use one calculation for both. One calculation for Venus. One calculation for Mars. Separately. It will not run a calculation for an "Exalted Blood" and a "Blood of Legend" pair.

But, it will do this:
In the case above, when a child is born, the game will roll for the father as a "Human (0)" and the mother a "Blood of Legend (3)" to inherit a "Venus Bloodline."

Where as for Mars, it will roll for the father as an "Exalted Blood (1)" and the mother a "Human (0)" to inherit a "Mars Bloodline."

25% the kid does get Mars and then 75% the kid does get one of the Venus traits. NOT 100% the kid does get both traits in one roll. Two separate calculations!

Here's another scenario for you:

If you have an "Exhalted Blood - Aphrodite" father and a "Heroic Blood - Hera" mother, nothing will happen. No traits of either bloodline will pass on to your kids. Click here to see why :O

Here's another scenario for you:

If you have a "Blood of Legend - Jupiter" father and a "Blood of Legend - Zeus" mother, nothing will happen. No traits of either pantheon will pass on to your kids.

Here's another scenario for you:

If you have a "Heroic Blood - Hestia" father of Hellenistic Culture and a "Human" mother of Latin Culture the game will roll for the father as a "Heroic Blood (2)" and the mother a "Human (0)" to inherit "Hestia Bloodline."

***You're free to have kids with women/men of other cultures/languages that have a pantheon. But, if you want your kids to inherit a bloodline through my inheritance mechanic, make sure you both don't have incompatible gods or incompatible pantheons.

  1. Father and Mother both "Blood of Legend (3)"
    • 1% does not inherit "Human (0)"
    • 8% to inherit "Exalted Blood (1)"
    • 11% to inherit "Heroic Blood (2)"
    • 80% to inherit "Blood of Legend (3)"

One Blood of Legend Parent
  1. Father "Blood of Legend (3)" and Mother "Heroic Blood (2)
    • 75% to inherit "Heroic Blood (2)"
    • 25% to inherit "Blood of Legend (3)"
  2. Father "Heroic Blood (2)" and Mother "Blood of Legend (3)"
    • 75% to inherit "Heroic Blood (2)"
    • 25% to inherit "Blood of Legend (3)"
  3. Father "Blood of Legend (3)" and Mother "Exalted Blood (1)"
    • 25% to inherit "Exalted Blood (1)"
    • 50% to inherit "Heroic Blood (2)"
    • 25% to inherit "Blood of Legend (3)"
  4. Father "Exhalted Blood (1)" and Mother "Blood of Legend (3)"
    • 25% to inherit "Exalted Blood (1)"
    • 50% to inherit "Heroic Blood (2)"
    • 25% to inherit "Blood of Legend (3)"
