First, I want to thank all the creators who worked on this map!

It has a lot of details and fits the theme to TF2 very well! It is my favorite CTF map, and I hope it will still get updated and played on after the summer event.

Now, I will cover my gameplay problems with this map that I found so far and go later on with visual errors.



Sniper Sidelines

The Sniper sidelines are not that bad like on 2Fort, Landfall, Doublecross, or my personal hellhole Turbine, but there is a bad spot I noticed.

In general, this spot is fine at first glance, the building in the middle breaks the sight and opens up many flank routes, and the enemy side of this stage seems to be clear to see for countersniper play.

My issue lies on the side route part with the ramp. https://i.imgur.com/9mTxKgW.png
It looks like it is covered by the roof of the building, but it isn't. https://i.imgur.com/W0lqqnS.png

In gameplay, the spot doesn't even come close to being a recognizable sightline.

Snipers sit on this spot, which is very easy to access, camp, and stay protected from countersniping from the same spot, thanks to the metal plate next to them.


This reminds me of a lesser version of the window camping on doublecross.
Snipers don't need to counter enemy snipers if they camp this single pathway where enemies can't even adjust.

On that pathway, if you want to run down the ramp, the tall wall blinds you and makes you focus more on what is in front of you. https://i.imgur.com/3qSiTNe.png


My solution would be to add more fence to the wooden wall a bit, I think that would be a great help to spot the enemy sniper there. https://i.imgur.com/WzWt2R7.png



Sentry Placement

There is an oversight on blocking buildings on this window that only affects the BLU side.

You can quite easily set up a Sentry in there by standing on your dispenser or setting it behind the wall and jumping up and falling next to the window down to build it. https://i.imgur.com/FFUdy48.jpeg

Just a no-build zone would be needed, or a wooden cover like RED Base has.



Unfair Team advantages

I was about to write this part, but there is already a player named
white daisy who covered it in this discussion.

Basicly, the BLU team is able to climb the sniper spot, and the RED team can't do the same on the BLU side. https://i.imgur.com/Slf4poh.png The fence sticks out a tiny bit to stand on.



Visual errors

From this point forward, this has nothing to do with gameplay anymore.
This can be ignored by the map makers, but I believe it is still worth mentioning.


- Let's start with the mirrored door texture in both Intel rooms.

Also, there is a noticeable cut in the textures on the wall where the door is.

Of course, this is a small detail, but each time I go up the stairs, I see the light cut. https://i.imgur.com/7X55yh3.png


- Black box on the ground in the RED Base backyard. https://i.imgur.com/Ap0TZxP.jpeg
BLU Side doesn't have this issue.


- Black props in the red spawn room, above the fireplace https://i.imgur.com/EFxUohX.png

They look out of place without the proper lighting.


- Cameras don't have the usual red light dot in

Last mentions

Overall, it is a vibrant but also cozy map that is easy to navigate and has a good middle section, unlike Pelican Peak or Frosty.

Now, some of you read my review/overview of this map, 
you may know what comes next from me if you recognize my avatar. 

There is a blatant reason why I took a good look at this map in particular, especially with a farm map with the name Applejack on it. 

And no, there is not a single reference to the show or a certain horse in there, that kind of saddens me.

At least from that, I was able to find these spots and bring them to the spotlight.


Keep up the good work and thank you for this map, It is a joy to play on it!

And hey, if you fix the issues and get more "creative" with easter eggs would be something special.

You can also get stuck if you put a teleport in the middle and use it.

Weapons, like the Dragons Fury, the Righteous Bison, Pomson 6000 and Short Circuit doesn't work at all inside Blu and Red Bases.
