Dry County
Kyle's Review of "Dry County" - 3/5
Loveable cowboy jank. 3/5 stars.

Dry County is a creative campaign in a unique setting that's let down by a lack of polish. The dusty western mining town is a great change of pace from most campaigns, and the level design is generally interesting and varied while still being easy to navigate. Crescendo events are notably well done here, with most of them — including the finale — taking place in multi-layered arenas that make good use of cover and vertical space. The event where you're running behind a construction vehicle that slowly drives up the road is a particular highlight.

However, there are some big issues. The good-looking environments tend to be covered up by an absurd amount of dusty yellow fog that makes it hard to see. The custom pickaxe melee has broken animations. There are way too many item spawns. Dialogue, graffiti, certain sound effects, and even an ending cutscene are all missing.

I could go on, but overall I think this mod is a fun time if you can be a little patient.
