Divinity: Original Sin 2

Roguelike Arena
Can't load the map to modify it
Hello.

I've been trying to modify your map using the Github file to hopefully add a few merchant NPCs for mostly Helaene and OdinBlade Class mods.

But it's my first time using the divinity engine and I can't figure how to load the map it keeps getting me a bunch of ressources missing errors I think and then saying :

Editor: 5 resources found whose SourceFile path is not relative to the loaded module's data folder! You can fix this by going into the Resource Manager panel, expanding the tools menu and clicking the "Fix resource source paths..." option! "

Only thing I see in tools is the "import ressource localization" which tells me :

can't check out file B:SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\Data\Public\Shared\Localization\Resources.lsb Check message window for Details

There is no "Shared" file in the "Public" file and I didn't see one in your Github files.

further it also says :

Editor: [ResourceSelector] Can not load information about recent and favorite resources. Detailed error message: Élément racine manquant..
Stack trace:
à System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)
à System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent()
à System.Xml.Linq.XDocument.Load(XmlReader reader, LoadOptions options)
à System.Xml.Linq.XDocument.Load(Stream stream, LoadOptions options)
à ResourceSelectorPlugin.QuickAccessPanelResourcesProvider.Load()

Code: File 'C:/Users/tomga/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition/PlayerProfiles/Tomgates2/InventorySettings.lsb' has version 3.6.9.0, which is too new for serializer with version 3.6.6.0!

Thinking about it the answer is probably something dumb but I can't find anything to fix it.

I was wondering if you could help me ? Thank you.

Hey there! I've checked it with a fresh install and it loads without issues for me. The first resource warning appeared for me as well, so I don't think that's the problem.

Can you specify what's the exact problem you're facing? First you need to load the module and then the map. Which step did you make it to and what happens or what doesn't happen that you think should?
oh like I thought i'm just stupid, I think before I just loaded the module and never the actual level and was expecting seeing the level after loading the module didn't know those were two distinct things xD.

maybe I can figure it out from here.

Sorry if I have bothered you and thank you for the help and answering this fast.
