Recently I played Excalibur 1-6 and I found it was a bit of a very thrilling fast pace shooter with own custom soundtrack which added to the heart and the spirit showing the true time and effort that had been put into this mod. While playing as Echo 8824 it was very interesting to see a story arc where members of the Civil Protection service had gone rogue from the combine and marked as autonomous for termination by the Combine Overwatch which is referenced as Code 66.

My Positive Thoughts:

The phrase Code 66 in itself surprised me a little bit as I thought about Order 66 from star wars, so it was nice to see some little Easter eggs or references inspired from other games or movies thrown in with the thrill of this mod in itself. Moving on to a more in depth part of the game as it was very interesting to hear the Civil protection panic on the radio, when they were marked for service termination for mission failure, it only added to the desperation of their own survival really adding to the atmosphere of fighting for their lives.

Voice Acting by Eleven Labs Voice AI:

Some of the voice acting in the game was absolutely spot on as it was heard and spoken very clearly, I also noticed that Eleven Labs was used for Echo 8824 as well as the voices on the radio for the Civil Protection as well as other characters featured in the mod which was really high quality and very realistic.

Combat:

When it comes to the combat side of the game-play, it felt very fluid spot on with the close to medium range engagements along side the dynamic objectives that are coded into weapons such as grenades to destroy things in a realistic manner which was a really nice touch to complete the dynamic objectives.

Music:
alex_mmc the music composer did a great job with the very cool heavy metal rock soundtrack which went perfectly with the high adrenaline paced combat engagements. Hearing a different soundtrack to the default Entropy Zero 2 game was fantastic because the music in the featured steam workshop add on fit perfectly in to the pace of the game level.

Overall I really enjoyed it.
