Force reload is basically an ability that do nothing but a forced reload action (you can find the action in ammo switching abilities such as MG42 AP rounds).
SneakEye also posted a thread that discussed how he reference non-existing abilities in the modding tools on COH2.org. Check it out if you want other abilities that Relic refuse to give access to modders (Such as AT guns prioritize vehicles when they are constructed by default)
It's a terrible idea, unless AI will be taught how to properly use proioritize vehicle. It is difficult and, as far as I know, it has only been done on vehicles in the so-called "chase" mode.
So in my opinion, this can seriously harm the AI, which by default relies heavily on the default prioritization system built into the game.
vCoH ladder and Wikinger both have AT specialist units start with Prioritise Vehicles as the default settings, and I've never noticed either have any issues.
It‘s an interesting proposition and I have ways to teach the AI toggling priority on and off. It requires some internal testing but I will put it on the list as a low priority item for later.
Also, would be nice to add "self-destruct" for emplacements, especially for the emplacements with build limits, as it is frustrating to try to use AT guns/mortars/pack howitzers to destroy them and the friendly AI will have to be killed to prevent repairs.
I never encountered this issue, but fair point. A self destruct can be done.
The "Panther-Group" is indeed a 1-off call-in. The Ostheer is designed as a defensive faction with limited resources, sort of to represent the bulk of the Wehrmacht in the late war. The OKW has access to the Panther by default since it's modeled of reorganized Panzerbrigaden / Formations designed for Schwerpunkt counter-attack or offensive use.
Didn't see actual use in the war, and I can only work with assets in the game. I can mix and mash some models but not import new stuff.
I understand where you are coming from, but I don't have the time and resources to write a wiki at the moment. At least Festung gives you time to pick and choose a commander :)
Fair enough. Though I dont mean data or numbers. Basically just the commander selection screens but all of them next to each other so I can see what each commander does. I guess I could try taking screenshots and ordering them myself.
Loving this mod by the way. By far the best Ive played. The vanilla+ feel is perfect. My friends are enjoying it too.
