Bug Reporting Discussion
This is for reporting bugs caused by this mod.

When bug reporting always assume the mod to work on the developers side so try to find any mod incompatibilities.

For game breaking issues. You can find your exception log and console log in your games directory, and provide such.

For non-game breaking bugs. Try to reproduce the bug, if so then you can include the steps on how to reproduce said bug.

Where are these files?
On the Rain World page in your library, the right side has a little cog. Click it. Go to "Manage" and click "Browse Local Files". The files I need from you are the exceptionLog and consoleLog. Please send these DIRECTLY AFTER you experience the glitch! DO NOT run the game again before sending it. The logs get wiped every time the game is open.
If I don't have enough information, I may also ask for your logOutput, which is found in the BepinEx folder.
Also, be sure to tell me if you own Downpour or not. Sometimes things slip past my notice.

I found an error, but don't want to bother you...
I work on mods for fun. This mod is my baby. Really, you'd be doing me a favour here. Please bother me!

It's been a day and you haven't responded. What now?
Have patience! I do try to fix bugs as soon as I can, but I do get easily overwhelmed sometimes. I am just another mentally ill and disabled dude with my own life, after all!

What issues are you aware of?
Chances are, if you mention an issue you're having, I probably don't know about it!

Discovered issues on LMB04,LMTOWER05,LMTOWER02 and LMTOWER01 from this mod.

The game rendering begins to hitch and lag, going to certain screens causes rendering to freeze.
Tested with bare minimum required for this mod to work, and warp menu. and again I do not own downpour.

Pushed another update that should fix this issue. All rooms are entirely operational on my end. In the future I'll try to be more vigilant when it comes to testing both with AND without Downpour!

i'm having a couple minor issues, the garbage wastes map seems to be displaying the past version while the room layouts are the present version? and there's something... weird going on with lizards in some areas, i noticed this mainly in industrial complex and chimney canopy, they act like their pathfinding is stuck and just sit and vibrate in place until they notice something they want to chase or avoid. i've only seen this when playing as this slugcat, playing on others with the mod active doesn't seem to cause the issue.

@blanche Not a clue what's up with Garbage Wastes, that's bizzare. And I will ask- is it all lizard types, or is it only one? I did tweak it so Cyans consider Unbound a rival, but it's possible that screwed with things.

@blanche I recommend checking for any mod incompatibilities as that could be the cause for your problems.

i turned off all non-essential mods and recorded for a while in the rooms where i saw the lizards being weird before, but i couldn't find a group of them all getting stuck at once anymore so it might've been an issue on my end. i do still have a bit of footage i could use to explain what i mean though. it was pink and blue lizards for the most part, the cyans seem fine. and i went back to garbage wastes to check on the map, i was mistaken in thinking it showed the whole past map - instead, in a bunch of the rooms it seems to be confused about where you are and shows a map with 3 rooms (not sure which) with you in a random spot on there.

So it's just an issue with the ingame map, most likely the map image file is not correctly positioned. Have patience, this issue will likely be resolved.

That is incredibly bizarre- especially considering that I changed only Cyan lizards and didn't so much as touch Garbage Wastes. I'll look into it. What mods do you have enabled?

I have found a Visual bug regarding Unbound's leap particles, this issue is caused by a mod incompatibility with Jolly Co-op. Leap particles are normal until you spawn a SlugNPC which causes Unbound's leap particles to be green instead of red.

I have tested this with the minimum requirements for the mod to work, and beast master to trigger the bug.

when playing as Unbound, cyans .. they pretty much ignored me actually.
actually, one was like, antagonizing me i think. playing. it was about to bite though, so i dodged. it then went on its way after i ran off.

And, to be clear, you DO own downpour when spawning a slugnpc, correct?

@Destiny Yep, that's normal behavior of Cyans in this mod! They treat Unbound as one of their own, so long as he isn't dead, and Unbound is unable to eat Cyan lizards :D
