About anomalies(spoiler)
Clotted pain - Diffirent things turned into pain clots by some mysterious power. Living creatures that would be too close to anything from pain clots will get induced pain that can be dangerous if there a lot of clotted pain.
Rusted mass - Large rusted piece of bioferrite looks like it watching every nearby human. It seems filling with some strange energy. When it reach 100% it will split into group of rusted soldiers.
Rusted soldiers - Chunks of rusted bioferrite shaped like humanoid. They are usually appear in small armed group.
Crannied obelisk - Warped obelisk with cracks on it. It can manipulate pain and may be dangerous, but you could study it to get new defence ability.
Collector - In tribal folklore this creature is appear as stealer of valuable things, that were left outside. Scientists say that in fact this invisible entity more likes to collect humans, but you may use his love to valuable things to create a trap.

Events:
Rusted army raid - just raid, but from rusted soldiers.
Pain transformation - some things near your base turned into clotted pain.
Collector - hidden event with collector arrival.

Ending patch:
Now during void structure spawning there is chance to rusted group arrived. They will defend structure, but you can activate structure before them, avoiding fight with rusted soldiers.

New researchs:
Pain weaponry: requires knowledge about clotted pain and 25 research points. Allows to create pain lance and pain pulser.
Rusted sculptures: requires knowledge about rusted mass and 70 research points. Allows to create rusted sculptures and transform them into rusted soldiers. These rusted soldiers will be fully controllable.

I have a question about the Collector. One appeared on my map, and over the course of a few days, kidnapped 2 of my people. On the third visit, we managed to kill the creature and track down its lair. Except, when I arrived, the pawns that were inside the warped cages weren't mine. Is this a bug perhaps? Are my pawns now lost forever? Or was it just a different collector that had arrived the third time around?

Did quest description has names of your pawns? If not that just another collector, if has, that is a bug.

No, there were no names at all. But since I killed the first collector, another one hasn't shown up.

I think I may have learned the real culprit; Performance Fish. I had a setting to "Mothball everything". Because when I checked the game save file the two pawns who were kidnapped were entirely removed. Their names only showed in the "tale manager".

I do really enjoy the idea of the collector, it's like a more dangerous Revenant. Though if I may suggest, I think it could do with a little tweak to make it a bit more manageable, because when it yoinked my second pawn who was out hunting, I didn't realise until I tried to draft them and couldn't. By which point they'd already been carried off the map.

Perhaps if they had to down the pawn first to capture them, it would feel a little more fair. Especially if you're playing a tribe, it's really hard to knock down. I only managed to kill it the first time through massive spamming of the Stun psypower.

Clothed pain is way too common, i have had 3 of these events in 10 days. Also it is too punishing, you should make it more rare.

I'm getting a bug with the collector, game goes to like 1 fps. Also there isn't enough information, every time I've come across a collector it has been a game over, as they can spawn even while only having access to basic anomaly events. I do like the difficulty though, and the rest haven't had issues. I love your mod <3

I quite like the anomalies this mod has.

But

Clotted pain should not be able to transform things inside the home zone, for example.

Its really not fun to have 2000 HP walls and nice sculptures i got as mission rewards turn to clotted pain.

killed the collector and a fragment fell out of him, which the pawn studied, but nothing happens next. How should his lair appear?

I would recommend nerfing the rusted army to hell, 20 of them show up against my colony of 5 and they just don't follow the rest of any other faction's scaling very well. Also clotted pain is just so common, it's cool but it goes from "oh man my only heater just got deleted in winter oh no!" to "oh no my third wall lamp this month" real fast

Still cool though well done

I also have a question about the collector-he stole a golden cube, which left 1 out of 10 followers, which feeds them -the collector himself was killed and I assume he stole it-they write about his lair here above-but I don't understand any hints how to find it
A single rusted soldier smashed my colony in pieces. 6 people with shotguns fired at the rusted soldier and my tough+nimble melee with flak lasted only seconds. Way too strong

Wish there was a larger pain stopper build that could just stop it from happening map wide, very annoying event later on to be constantly replacing walls and furniture

Actually pain clots as event and codex entity will be removed in next update, I am currently working on, inhibitors will work as inhibitors for containment.
Anyway pain clots and stuff won't be removed entirely, but remade as regular anomalous materal

thank you so much
