Report a translation problem
-Camonna Tong Assassins changed into Morag Tong Assassins along with their descriptions - a lore error.
-Added less ambigious description to Trading Goods, telling players in which towns they can sell each respective resource.
-Ash Vampires no longer evolve into Ancient Ash Vampires in time, it causes them to lack crucial rituals you get when promoting the unit
-Dagoth Ur no longer has Monkey Maharaja description!
-Fix of missing feature - building Tribunal Temple by Houses other than House Indoril summon Tribunal Temple Keeper. As long as the Keeper is alive, it will enable you recruitment of Tribunal Temple Priest.
-Additionaly, House Hlaalu summons Hlaalu Trinket Salesman, selling souvenirs on Temple grounds, generating you additional profits
-Because of the fix, now building a Tribunal Temple will grant you 20% chance of recruiting Tribunal Priests as other Houses as it should.
-Added description about Dres Slave Markets needing to have 5 tile gap between each other, if you plan to build multiple ones.
-Fixed description of picking out Slave Champions - it pointed players to Slave Markets instead of Arena or Arena Canton to cast the ritual, it was inproper and misleading
-Morale of Redoran Honor Guard and Redoran Arms Master changed from 4->8
-Fix of Telvanni Alchemists leveling up - now they can properly evolve to Experienced Alchemists and Master Alchemists
-Fixed granting ranks as Telvanni Wizard - once you acquire the new rank, you can no longer pick a rank promoting you to lower rank than yours, you forget those older rituals with inferior ranks
-Fixed promoting Telvanni Magister to Archmagister - you no longer summon additional Archmagister ally, instead you properly summon a rival Archmage you will fight with for a title
-Established Slave Broker no longer has a list of rituals, he will not be able to buy slaves from you anymore
-Added the info about Established Slave Brokers not buying slaves anymore to the description of ritual of selling 40 slaves
-Dres "friends" no longer spawn at the begining of the game!
-Redoran Army Trainer is now properly able to pick up Trading Goods
-Experienced Alchemist now evolves properly into Master Alchemist
-Grand Telvanni Summoner and Master Soulbinder descriptions fixed
Main Fix:
-Fixed multiplayer mode, it should now work with an ingame lobby without Saturn's fix or using Radmin VPN / other hosting programs
Minor Fixes:
-Dremora & Dremora Lord battle position changed to front from mid rank.
-Hlaalu Spy rank changed from front to back
-Ash Vampire & Ash Vampire Ancient should now cast their spellbook spells more often, along normal Shockball attacks.
-As in a description, you can no longer build multiple Telvanni Slave Markets around one Telvanni Tower
-Current Telvanni Archmagister should not spawn in all telvanni towers anymore, just the one occupied by your challenging leader (+hasunit -> +hasunithere)
-Dres Plantation now benefits from the presence of slaves, it's formally set to be a "mine"
-House Dagoth no longer has any limit on a number of strongholds they can build, (used to be max of 4), but it's limited to 6 for AI to prevent stronghold spamming
-Temple Architect can now lead troops. There was a possibility of using other commander to leave ship on a tile, so Temple Architect can step on water tiles, but it was somewhat confusing way of building the Holy City. Now it should be more straightforward. Never wanted Architects to lead troops, but they are Unique characters so it shouldn't be much of a problem, and this change improves clarity.
-Telvanni Chitinmancer library learning deleted, it never was a commander unit so it's unusable
-Redoran Emperor Crabs can now properly burrow back to become Cities. (used to require a city terrain to do that lol)
-Sadly, God units now will have randomized name, like Tracan the Dagoth Ur. I reaaally don't like it, but otherwise the game crashes if you ever summon the particular god of tribunal or dagoth ur once again.
-Telvanni Wizard now forgets rituals of summoning a trusted retainer and picking up the initial spellbook - to keep things tidy, those rituals are one time use
-Telvanni Enchanted Mage Guard should summon floating axes more consistently.
Additional notes - people mentioned several things as for mechanics that might require a comment:
- 1% Chance of Ash Prophet spawning from Telvanni Master, Redoran Blademaster, Hlaalu Guild Master and Dres Sky Guards is intentional. It's supposed to show corrupting nature of the Sixth House, giving you a tiny chance during a midgame to have an opportunity to become corrupted by Dagoth Ur
- Crafting magical / alchemical items as Telvanni is not possible. I've had that in previous versions, and around turn 40-60 the game was always crashing, regardless of the presence of new items in the game or not. Seems like some kind of a game bug, and I could not find a way around it.
-Keepers of the Dead spamming Aura of Unlife - sadly schools of magic are hardcoded into the game, and I'm not able to make custom lists of spells NPCs can use.
Other bugs I'm aware of:
- People has mentioned Redoran Spearman and Redoran Warrior crashing the game while attacking. TBH I have no idea what's that about, I've playtested redorans both last time and now with multiple games, but never encountered that error. Data file for those guys look normal too.
-On occasion Hlaalu mercs are 2x2 size. This happens randomly and resolves itself on game restart. - I don't know what's causing this one
-Telvanni Retainer loosing it's level 1 rituals - for some reason the bug appears. fixing it should be simple, but the fix did not work
-Telvanni Wizard losing it's spells on being upgraded - I haven't touched on that one yet.
