Why does an invisible strider follow you around when using this mod?
So, I was using the NPC Voice Chat mod and I had this installed, and I started hearing an entity called strider saying a bunch of random voicelines. It turns out, that the "strider" was an invisible error directly above me, following me around the map.

So, I would like to ask, what is the exact use of this entity?
I'm a bit confused :/

its why hunters is able to walk and shoot. They cant "follow" other npcs and player. And they wont walk away from strider when they follow him, so I had to make strider follow player, so hunters can "follow" players

you know this causes all the other npcs to shoot at you sometimes right?

this is only happens only if you have mod like iNpc, because it rewrites the relationship system for default npcs. It works fine without it. But you can disable it in menu if you want to.
