Four torpedoes loosed, three ships hit, one dud ;) Think the dud exploded early though they were all contact fuses

That's awesome!
If I can ever get the warming action time increased, I will release a version of this mod where warming torpedoes only reduces dud chances by 5% and increases the impact angle by 10° from the Cold values.
Then I would change both the maintenance perk multiplier and the perfect hit multiplier both to only 15%.
Should give something like this for a T1-Pi1:

COLD
Dud Chance = .40, Min Angle = 22, Max Angle = 54

COLD/PERFECT HIT
Dud Chance = .34, Min Angle = 22, Max Angle = 54

COLD/PERFECT HIT/MAINTENANCE SKILL
Dud Chance = .29, Min Angle = 22, Max Angle = 54

WARM
Dud Chance = .35, Min Angle = 32, Max Angle = 54

WARM/PERFECT HIT
Dud Chance = .29, Min Angle = 32, Max Angle = 54

WARM/PERFECT HIT/MAINTENANCE SKILL
Dud Chance = .25, Min Angle = 32, Max Angle = 54

Interesting, well curious to see how it progresses. Much happier with the amount of duds than compared to vanilla.

1st patrol U-96, 14 torpedoes, 7 hits, 7 duds, 6 ships sunk with torpedoes, 2 with lone steamers with deck gun, 8 total.

Still exceptionally tonnage even with all these difficulty mods:steammocking:

It's not bad considering in the game "duds" also include every other sort of malfunction a torpedo might have

You're using your aircraft mod?

yes. I make sure I have my time compression set to only the third one (120?) because I find it gives you more time to react. In this case though I had two aircraft and the bombs were on top of me as I ordered the crash dive. Tried to reverse it but took on huge amounts of water. Emergency blow did nothing. RIP

You've got me excited, haven't really been scared of aircraft in this game yet... can't wait to run into a few.
