Multiplayer bug
I have to say this mod is outstanding! However when in multiplayer, if anyone tries to get in the aircraft, it just explodes. This happens on both local hosted and on a dedicated box. I have also found that if one is placed with Zeus, the person who placed it can get in fine.

An obvious temporary fix is to just not allow the object to take damage, but this isn't ideal when playing MilSim.

Great job on this mod, and I hope you can get this fixed soon!

Have you tried to do the same without all of those mod? Only with FC-37 thunder enabled?

Yup we just tested with only FC-37 - same issues.

Yeah, with @FC-37 Thunder only, it still blows up in MP

On local hosted missions, it blows up when anyone but the host gets in. On the dedi box, it explodes if anyone tries to get in. Its fine on singleplayer though :/
Are you certain that it is the aircraft and not the mission? It happened to me with RobJ's mission using this aircraft, but I thought this was a game-related bug (as it used to happen all the time in alpha/beta)

Try shooting the aircraft once before you enter it. A common physX bug causes aircraft to explode unless you do that.

@the_Demongod: I'm certain its the aircraft, I've tried 3 different missions now, with varying numbers of scripts and the issue happens everytime.

@Jani: Just tried this, no luck, still explodes :(

Also, I forgot to mention this in the OP, but the aircraft also explodes when placed on the Nimitz flight deck.

I tried this in multiplayer and it didnt explode... Are you running any other mods at the same time?

I've tried this with the mods I normally use, and with just the aircraft. Both times it explodes for everyone, apart from the person hosting the mission.

just tested with a friend.. he was able to get in and taxi but exploded once he tried to take off..

This has got me stumped.. got absolutely no idea what could be causing it. Its probably got something to do with the latency since the local host doesnt explode, but as for how to fix it I got nothin

I went into the init files and basically removed the loadout variable and set the plane to a fixed JSF loadout, and it did not explode on my dedicated with all my mods running. loadout might be a common name, perhaps another mod is using that variable and there's a conflict.

@Sr7x This is possible, but unlikely as it still explodes when I'm only using the f-37 and no other mods

I didn't have any issue at stock but I only ran one test at stock, try this

I changed the init and init_stealth files in data/scripts around line 8/9/10 depending on the file to this:
_loadout_l = "jsf";
_gun_l = "y";

and have not had it explode on me, though I was only able to do two tests on a dedicated server with all my usual mods with both fighters. Though the gun is empty, the rest seems to work fine.
