Ancient urban ruins
Adding more danger trough new events?
Making your own bunker/separate map is OP that is a given, as such could there be added or at least made compatible some events/raids to spice up the game?

Outside of insect raids, there could be the following (as I consider them interesting).

-Tunneler raid/s:

Desc: Allows raids to happen underground, either vanilla "kill everyone" or have a custom goal of collapsing the bunker using a BIG bomb they brought with them, after all, 100x100 is enough space for playing. Usually industrial factions up to mechanoids in late game, starting from a hole underground similar to Anomaly fleshbeast holes.

Lore: "A group of [insert faction] dug up a tunnel under your base and broke into your bunker, they are attacking immediately.","[insert faction] have broken into the bunker! they plan to collapse it with everyone still inside using a (some bomb name)"

-Ancient pods/buried:

Desc: Like ancient dangers but have(or do not) a chance to spawn and when discovered or exposed they activate unleashing monstrosities from Anomaly or other mods, It would slow down the early developing process of a bunker

Lore: "Beast of long forgotten times has been awakened by your miners! Creatures, centuries old resulting from science experiments gone wrong or unnatural means are going to kill everyone in sight!"

-Colonist developing claustrofobia as mental break:

Desc: When low on mood for too long or about to suffer a mental break they have a chance to get "Claustrophobia" either as a mental break or a trait (Vanilla expanded traits have you get "optimist" when you have high mood for too long). The effect makes them run out of the bunker and not allow them to get in or have a permanent -25 (balancing) debuff when underground.

Lore: "After suffering for a long time [Insert pawn] feels the walls closing in on them suffocating and trembling from the thought of being buried alive or worse starving inside a rock coffin. [Insert pawn] developed claustrophobia [insert gender designator] can't stand being underground and will stay above ground any chance they get."

These are just some I thought of, a bit too much in terms of coding I know but I think they serve as a base to add more danger or challenge, considering that this mod allows us to experience z levels not only in POI but as a functional mechanic that done right trivializes the game somewhat.

I love this mod and I can't wait to see whats up next in its development.

All expansion content will be further developed only after the completion of the first major update

idk that claustrophobia one as proposed would make me install altered carbon then once sac'd woodchipper the bloke. a perment neg 25 mood debuff is way too punishing situational or not.
