Found a great way of clearing a map on accident. I was trying out DragSelect while "Reform Vehicle Caravan" and I selected more than my caravan can carry. So I was stuck till I dumped things. So that gave me an idea of just reentering the ruin collecting things I don't want to deal with and just dumping it off map.

It also helps with your pawns mental health; reform your caravan, select all bodies and tainted cloths (if you don't tainted cloths will be all over the map), dump off map. I also do it with melee weapons and bows.
