Ranged attack class?
is there not a ranged attack focused class? there are lots of melee and magic classes, i saw that there used to be a ranger class but it was split between druid and rogue which are a mage and melee. Which class do you recommend going for if using bow/crossbow/magelock as a main damage?

All of rogue is good for phy ranged. Rogue just rewards u a bit more for melee bc melee is more dangerous than ranged.
