Description
DISCLAIMER: This exists *with* the vanilla classes and this is compatible with any other class mod out there.

This is an updated version of Age of Heroes mod. To start off:
1. Dragon's Disciple is WIP. It will be an add-on mod to avoid making this mod require Dragon Dawn DLC.
2. Gambler is no longer a class, as I found it too problematic to try to impliment and balance
3. Spiritualist and Necromancer have been combined into one class called Spirit Walker
4. Ranger has been dissected and parts of it given to Druid and other parts to Rogue as subclasses
>Reason: Less Main Class Bloat and it had a lack of real identity due to Rogue and Druid existing
5. Druid moved from Battle Magic to Support
6. Storm Lord renamed to Storm Mage
7. Each class can only be picked once across all your heroes. If you hire a hero who has a class you already have, the game will remove them on-hire and refund them the skill points
>Reason: Some of these classes feel like must-haves (i.e. Antipaladin and Dark Culture). To give myself a bit more creative freedom, design space, and to make it easier for players to experiment with other classes, I made this restriction.
8. Each class has 7 levels instead of the previous 10.
>Reason: This is to give me more design space, creative freedom, and less overlap to create something both balanced and fun. Also reduces the likelihood of adding in skills that only act as filler.

Bug Fixes
1. All descriptions now properly have hyperlinks
2. Non-Repeating effects have been added where they should
3. All army stack passives do not work on heroes though some MAY affect the unit who has the skill (this is probably intended originally and not a bug, but I'm listing it as one anyways)

Subclasses
Once you pick the second class ability, if the class has a subclass, you will be granted a choice of two skills once you get to your 3rd class ability. Abilities thereafter will be based on the subclass.

The Classes
Class List[docs.google.com]
As of update of 11/30/24, you no longer need to refer back to this doc. The skills of a class are listed when you select the first class skill prior to confirming (look at screenshots)

Bugs
If you have Eldritch Realms DLC, some spells will pop up on the tooltip when you select Spirit Walker 4. Unless you are an Eldritch Sovereign, they can be ignored (coding limitation)

In rare cases, should a hero appear to not have the skill tree, it will be applied next turn (so basically have to wait the following turn).

WIP
Dragon Disciple - Will be an add-on mod of which it will be it's own base class. Will require Dragon's Dawn DLC
Fey Witch - Will be an add-on mod of which it will be it's own subclass of the Druid class. Will require Primal Fury DLC
Storm Lord - Will be an add-on mod if which it will be in it's own subclass of the Storm Mage class. Will require Primal Fury DLC
There MAY be a main class and/or subclass for Eldritch Realms, but I have not thought that far ahead yet

Yes, its a bug at the moment. It seems the AI has been changed from an update.

@Lord Vectra

i got confused with how this works, but its like the red crossed swords icons showing the heroes classes, when you hire a hero.

it never changes they are always a druid of some kind, and assasin or stalker, but since its free reset skills on hire then i just change them to whatever anyways so it dont matter

Same for me, Geomancer stop after the 3rd choice. Great mod by the way, thank you for it.

somehow the geomancer subclass line seams to be blocked after chosing the fisr dust devil skill :/

There is the Cleric that does some spirit damage. I can look into it - maybe a cleric subclass. No promises though

Something id like to see that vanilla never offered is a mage class specializing in blight damage, and one specializing in spirit damage. Your frost class seems pretty sweet, which also wasnt a thing in vanilla for some reason. The other damage types would be really nice too though, since blight only has a few actual abilities that deal it, and im pretty sure spirit damage can only be dealt from base attacks.
