New Game / Other info
Starting a new game:

After intro zone, you will start in a small village, with 20k gold and level 4-5. First of all you might want to buy a stone of recall for this particular village from temple priest, it works just as OC Stone of Recall, but there is one for each town. Then you might want to get TWO henchmen from tavern, you might also consider buying a contract from local guard post, which will summon a mercenary, a summon which doesn't count towards your 2 henchmen cap. Every town has their own mercenary contracts for sale, with corresponding levels(5,10,15). You can then buy some equipment and potions at vendors in town, loot the warehouse, and choose to go either east or west. After getting a level or two, you might consider taking on one of the easier bosses for a haste item, one in the crypt from the orc area, he is undead, but drops a haste ring. Another one is ogre chieftain found west of town, in caves at the orc area. You might want to visit the Hive, which is reached from giants caves, and slay le queen boss there. At level 10-12 you may try to take on first dragon boss, he is found west and then south of town, if killing him was no trouble, you might consider finding another bosses. Generally you are free to go anywhere and kill anything possible. When you feel ready to visit other planes, you can find the demon stone, and planar portal.

Known Issues:
- Wemic often won't show armor at all, purely cosmetical
- Saving the game while shapeshifted and then loading will show wrong model, purely cosmetical

Tips and other info:

As mentioned, you will receive gold for slaying mobs, if their CR is in range with your level. Trading is a thing for few reasons, and there are a lot of stuff to buy, hidden shops, item improvement.

Finding a good weapon, especially exotic weapons might be difficult, therefore you most likely to buy one or craft it.

You can craft you gear in a few ways:
- There is a magic forge in first town that allows you to upgrade enhancement bonus for a weapon, for merely gold, with the last level of +5 requiring some dragon blood
- Using orbs and augments. Like adding 1d6 elemental damage to a weapon, or adding strength bonus. An infuser in snow town will allow you to create some orbs.

Credits:
CEP 2.71 - gigantic library of player created content.
shadguy's Spell VFX Library, and all it includes (Anthraxcite, Hugie's) - the visual effects for the new spells and abilities.

A big part of inspiration for the Baator mod came from my all times favorite server, which has been on for years:

orbs and augments are randomly spawned in containers i think? is there or will there be a source of getting more of these? like, i went through a bunch of them putting them on a weaker item and now i find a better sword that'd make a better base for them upgrade trinkets but i already used them all. so if i could either buy them or trade "farmable" items dropped by monsters or some such for more upgrade items that'd be real sweet. though i suppose it would lessen the uh, signficance of them in the "lategame" if you can get however many of them you want urgh

yes, there are both containers and also some dropped by non-boss, stronger creatures - f.ex in a spawn of Stingers in desert, priests and mages will drop it, usually mobs that spawn as only 1 creature per spawn, something like leader of spawn group. On another planes there is a bigger variety and also bigger amount of them
