Description
UPDATE:
- New prestige class - Demon Soul. A melee class which will be able to polymorph into a powerful demon at will
- 8 new spells
- Henchmen can now identify items
- Wish redone. Creatures now leave loot, no savethrow.
- Fixed missing VFX for Circe of Daggers and Chaos Rift
- Fixed Hunger of Hadar damaging allies
- Fixed Eldritch Blast wrong damage type vs undead
- Minor spell tweaks and bugfixes
- Henchmen disbanding: If you have taken henchmen between modules, and then disbanded them from radial menu they might still be stuck in your party, they will not follow you around and you can still have 2 henchmen as usual (meaning that you will see 3 henchmen in your party). To avoid this PLEASE use the "we need to part ways" option from the dialogue, this will set their faction properly, and remove them from party fully. If you already have used the radial menu and got a stuck hench, just travel back and forth between modules again, disbanded hench will disappear.

Hello Adventurers!

After a rework for Enhanced Edition, i hereby can finally present to you Godfell, an epic adventure which will take you throughout the planes to the highest peaks of power. This module is based upon d&d lore, with some minor freeform changes, as so players will travel through a few villages in Faerun, see Feywild, Shadowplane, Baator, Elysium as of now, and more to come later. This is mostly a hack&slash module, with simplified dialogues, aimed towards challenging player builds in many game aspects, most of mobs are fully customized, many have few custom scripts and abilities.

There is a lot of custom content. 4 new classes, many new spells and abilities, some few new feats, subraces (with appearance change). A lot of classes were reworked to make them more playable, f .ex. palemasters get all new summons, up to a dracolich, as well as getting his touch attacks to be more powerful, shadowdancers can now instakill with shadowdaze, shifters get some bonuses to AC, as well as increased DC for forms to name just a very, detailed list further below. A lot of spells were redone, mostly to allow their damage to progress further with caster level, some spells have new effects added, or split, changed etc., to make those spells more viable for gameplay.

The module comes as a pack of 3 modules: Main module, Elysium, and Baator. Goal of the main module is to find the demon stone, which will allow players to travel to other planes, as well as level your character to around lvl 20 and get some decent gear.

Genre: Hack & Slash - the module is designed to challenge player against different powerful mobs and bosses, most of which are pretty customized.
Story: Low - there are minimal dialogues, most of the plot is built upon items.
Skills: Medium - some skills might be more useful, f.ex. traps are not disarmable, lockpick is used to open some few areas, persuade and intimidation aren't used.
Levels: (4)5 - 40
Multiplayer: Should work, untested
Difficulty: Medium - one of the focal points of the module is making the challenge rich and unique, while maintaining balance. Some areas will be more difficult or easier to different character classes.
Mobs and Bosses: Numerous mobs and bosses, most are customized and some have new mechanics and custom scripts. F.ex cause player to forget memorized spells, punish with kickback damage on hit etc.
Loot: Extensive customized loot tables, with many items having custom abilities. General loot drop is drastically decreased, so you don't have to pick up hundreds of loot bags, worth 10 gold. Players are rewarded with gold coins on kill, as long as they stay within certain level gap. Bosses will drop powerful preset items, as well as random powerful items.
Craft: There are few crafting stations, as well as many different orbs and augments which will allow you to add item properties.
Followers: There are many henchmen to choose from, players are allowed to have 2 henchmen at once. You can access their inventories and take them between modules. Dialogues are simplified.

Installation:
This module uses CEP 2.71 as well as few other libraries (full list in credits section), all the files are included in this package, except CEP which is set as required.

Custom Content:
- New prestige class - Warlock, which is based upon nwn2 warlock and 5th edition, with some few tweaks. Can choose a patron which will enhance eldritch blast, and 3 levels of invocations, each with 3 different spells.
- New prestige class - Mindflayer Ceremorphosis. You will gain access to unique abilities which do psychic damage (new), and permanently change your appearance to mindflayer. Your diet changes as well...
- New prestige class - Artificer. You can craft useful items, like bombs, use spell-like abilities called combat gadgets, and enhance your custom crafted armor. Crafting skills improve most aspects of the class: Craft trap increases grenade damage, craft weapon increases combat gadgets, craft armor improves durations of armor upgrades.
- New prestige class - Blood Knight. A strong melee fighter class, which gains unique blood damage(new) and can use some blood related abilities.
- New damage types: Blood, Psychic, Void and Hellfire.
- New arcane caster familiar: Modron
- New Epic Spell: Wish
- 25+ new spells for all casters.
- Custom Subraces with permanent appearance change.
- Many classes were remade to make them more playable.

Mod compatibility:
Most mods which are not compatible with CEP will also be incompatible with Godfell as well, I have found one so far - Advanced Combat Animations Pack v4 (override version) where it shows wrong phenotype for most of the combat styles, only 2 of them show properly (Demonblade and Magic one), no crashes thou.

Tested mods:
- Verdant Wilderness and Neverwinter Facelift - works great!
- Portrait packs Icewind Dale and Female Elfs - works great, and i dont think there will be any problems with other portrait packs to be honest
- Skyboxes - Real Skies Lite, works well, vanilla skies being overriden as it should, but i also use a lot of CEP skyboxes
- Loadscreen with Artwork
- Ravenloft POTM blood override
- Explosion override VFX
- Reborn UI - that was a pleasant surprise, as i use mostly nwn unused assets which never made it into the game for spells (as well as cantrips and some very few duplicates of og spells)...which reborn UI happens to have redone as well! So all new spell icons will actually come from Reborn UI as well. Some feats and new class icons are custom, thus do not have Reborn UI override.

I was able to fix my issue by downloading the missing hak files from the NWN Vault version.

I do not know why but the vampire hounds do not have a model and some of the companions in the inns do not have a model either. I don't have anything in my override/ovr folders or dev folders. I also have CEP installed.

Is the Vault version of Godfell updated to current? Just downloaded and tried it from their and it doesn't seem to have the newest version, ie Demon Soul.

@Electafuzz not rly, there are the og chests for loot types like medium, unique treasure etc, which are placed in inacessible area, and some preset loot on bosses themselves

Taking my henchman between modules worked initially, but doesn't seem to anymore. Any fixes? I never used the radial menu to remove them. My character is a lich and I can see the game take a bit to put their skin on, could that be crashing some script or something like that?

The henchman cleric Aleeya Windsong really loves to cast Gate and summon a hostile balor. It's easy enough to kill by the point you're high enough level that she can do that, but still pretty goofy.

The Empty Phylactery is one such item I'm a bit confused by, idk if its because I lack Lore or anything else, but it doesn't seem to do much in my hands.
