I've noticed my colonist is wearing composite helmet (Combat extended) over a prestige recon helmet (basically wearing 2 helmets at the same time), and some pawns wear that helmet over a hood. I've checked their inventory and noticed, that helmet occupies eyes layer instead of headgear. I can see the patch in mod files:

<xpath>Defs/ThingDef[defName="Apparel_AdvancedHelmet"]/apparel/layers</xpath>
<value>
<layers>
<li>EyeCover</li>

I assume that this causes the issue, and to be honest i don't know why is that helmet layer patched in the first place

@Enig all sorted now, no more flak helms acting as hats

The prestige cape does not seem to layer properly (visually) with the prestige catapharact armor. The armor draws over the cape, when it should be the other way around.

I cant seem to reproduce the error on my end anymore, if the issue still exists when only my mod is active, check to make sure its updated, as I had the same issue then patched it

If its a mod conflcit, use binary search to find it and i can patch it if i know the mod and am able to reproduce

So I've noticed a bug that, now that it exists makes me chuckle. Not sure this mod was made with some of the extra hat mods in mind because I'm now seeing double hats along with normal things like hats atop gas masks n' stuff. Seeing pawns rocking up with a sombrero-cowboy hat combo is pretty funny.

If its from the settlers mod, try updating the mod, I JUST added support for most/all the VE mods, mightve missed one or 3, they have so many

so the sombrero+other hat combo isn't supposed to happen anymore?

@RNGeeves the sombrero can be worn above helmets like a hood,

you can let me know if theres some helmets/hats that clash together so that i can patch it so it all works out, chances are if the sombrero looks bad with a hat, chances are so would other hats

though you can turn all that off now

I found the bug, since `_CeremonialCultistMask` came from Anomaly DLC and I dont have anomaly dlc

You can safely ignore that error, won’t cause issues

but I will try to patch it so it doesn’t show up at all
