Overtime Bonus

Overtime Bonus, added as of patch 1.23, is an invisible percentage (max 50%) built up based on Employee's performance throughout the match. When scrap is sold via Dspecial, this percentage is taken from the scrap's total value and added as additional credits towards Employee's quota (which has a cap of half of Employee’s quota requirement from the moment the scrap is taken). This mechanic is relatively simple in practice, but internally has a lot of complexities towards how it works.

In Training Mode, the Overtime Bonus percentage can be viewed if hitboxes are turned on.

Grades

When scrap is taken by the Company, Employee gains a brief notification on their HUD afterwards that tells you the combined value of what was collected, along with bonus credits gained. This also assigns them an aesthetic letter grade.

Grade

A

B
25%-34%
C

D

F

Overdelivering

When Employee puts multiple pieces of scrap on the Company counter, a flat value is added to their Overtime Bonus depending on the amount collected. Employee’s Overtime Bonus can never go below this value so long as the Company is still in the process of accepting scrap, regardless of how badly they may be performing.

This means that if Employee manages to sell at least three pieces of scrap, their subsequent grade will not fall below a D.
