Impossible to butcher/shred?

I went back to playing RimWorld after some weeks and just got a raid from Hypermedia faction, adbots and steel enforcers.

I killed all of them and survived but now I can't seem to find the option to butcher/shred the corpses, even though I remember it was possible and gave some plasteel.

Any ideas?

This isn't a true fix but if you get Micro designations it'll let you shred them via that. Works for me but it is a tad annoying
