Also prioritizing block is a good idea, when choosing between gain 5 block or dealing 6 damage, blocking is a better idea if you’re find it tough. Since you have tornado kick playing the longer game is good since it constantly scales with your element levels, so it can become a 1 (or 0 cost when upgraded), deal 30 damage.
Also with multiple enemies if you face the flying birds, tornado kick ignores buffs and debuffs, so it’ll deal it’s amount of damage directly to the birds unaffected by the -33% damage on them. And for the triple cultists, that fight is always tough lol. Just try to focus them one by one if you can and use air bending slice if you got it. Also remember to use potions, including the mod specific ones during multi fights. They’ve come in handy and helped me out a lot.
I’ll also make some other suggestions/point out some other cards and combos that are good.
Upgrading remembrance is always a good idea, there is an event that can do it for free but making it one of your first upgrades is a good idea. Same goes with tornado kick but not as necessary.
Posture is a very strong card that determines the pace of fights, getting it is always a smart idea. It’s also 0 cost when upgrading it making it free strength.
If you need more block Earth Armour is a good pull for making them more useful.
Other good block cards are Epiphany (0 cost on upgrade), Earthy defense gives 8 block and 2 earth, and having higher earth is always good. Earth Etching is also a great card to get, it’s essentially a slightly better frost orb per earth, but make sure you have some earthy defense’s or else you’ll run out of earth. It also scales with Dexterity when used, so you can get more block per earth if you have Dex before using it. Ponder is also a great card, for block that also upgrades cards in hand, it’s also 0 cost when upgraded.
Double down is also good if you need more block (also 0 cost when upgraded)
Team up is a great card, picking it up in any run is good.
Fire knives is a great card even if you don’t have a lot of fire, it scales well with Strength and there’s multiple ways of getting fire later.
Assimilate and Siphon have a great synergy that can be very helpful. Assimilate moves all element levels into fire and then siphon boosts the lowest elements by the highest, essentially quadrupling your levels when used in this combo.
Siphon can also be used when all element levels are equal. When it’s used like this it doubles everything, I usually pick up Siphon when I see it even when it’s not as useful lmao, but it’s more versatile then you might initially think.
The Avatar state is extremely powerful and if you block often, you can hold onto it for a while. Chakra hoard is a good card if you don’t wanna fully commit to the avatar state but wanna have it happen every now and then
Air Shield + Spirit World can create for infinite plays
I hope what I’ve said is helpful. If you’re still finding it troublesome feel free to reach out here, I’d love to help you out. And again thank you for trying out the mod :)
