LOVE THE MOD thanks
Ammo wagon is a maybe, I gotta build out the war machines and artillery I have planned to see if that's something that would complement them. Engineers I'm iffy on because with the way other mods have implemented them, they're not all that neat or useful.
Yeah you can give them repair abilities, deployables etc, but after that they're not all that interesting.
"Is it cool and fun" is the sole guidance I have in bringing my ideas to life, and with what I'm working on next, that phrase very much applies.
How about some snipers and/or sappers? With cool woodland camo cloaks over their plate armor which gives them the ability to stalk in forests. Sappers could just use satchel charges like ironbreakers, but laying down landmines that act as hidden stationary self-destruct summons would be cooler I think.
Also whatcha got in mind for artillery? I can see both light howitzer batteries and giant-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-railcannons working with this vibe, curious what you've got in mind tho.
Glad to hear the enthusiasm! I've got some cool stuff in mind for snipers actually, something that can deal with large enemies at long range and also deal with close range targets in a unique way.
Sappers I've been thinking about, not quite sure yet how to implement them in a way that's not just like "yeah, box checked, there they are". I want every unit to have cool stuff.
I also gotta brush up on 16th/17th century artillery, but I've got ideas for what the big guns will consist of. My ideas for war machines are more complete and that's what I'll be focusing on more closely before I double back to weapon teams.
I'm a Skaven main through and through but this mod alone makes me want to play empire
If there's anything i'd want to see it'd be a full faction, e.g: Lords, Buildings, Objectives, etc. If you have any need for lore writing, i've been DMing DnD for around 3 years and would love to help a project as cool as this!
