Conflicts Begin
Conflicts Begin is all about encountering other factions for the first time, so you aren't in galactic war with them. It was made to be a starting campaign to get use to the buildings and units you will be using in the main sandbox campaigns.

Though saying that their is quite a difference in difficulty depending on which faction you play, with the Insurgency being the easiest, Independents medium, and the Imperial Authority the hardest


--Insurgency
Aka the Rebels are like any other campaign are spread across the galaxy and at the start of the campaign they are unable to build space units, or the shipyard, however each of the factions heroes are able to build galactic support space units at their orbiting planet; provided their is a starbase present.

These space units are limited in number and the types varies for each hero in what can be built and throughout the campaign these heroes are the only way you can build fighters & bombers.

In the beginning as a Insurgency you capture planets without being attacked, however the Empire will start to notice and once a threshold has been reached they will begin their assault on numerous world to quell your rebellion, which then provides you with much needed assistance in the way of new space units at shipyards.

However due to how limiting these new forces will be, your'll only be able to reinforce a single hero or two, depending on the state of the galaxy.

Now it becomes even more important to gain the support of neighbouring planets to build a war chest as one may say for the battle ahead, like those at Mon Calamari who will gladly support you.


--Imperial Authority
As the Empire you start off with massive upkeep from buildings that haven't been dealt since the the end of the clone wars and on top of that buildings that monitor the galaxy have taken up all other available space on your current planets.

As an Admiral of the Imperial Navy you won't have access to the assets that your superiors have, so you will have to link up with planets that still have production capabilities and space forces not currently on assignment.

Then expand to new planets to build up your own forces to defend the planets under your rule from the current crisis affecting the Empire.

Depending on what happens in the coming months dictates what message you receive. In any case you will gain new assets to crush the growing insurgency in the outer rim.

After this new research options become available at Trieron, which will allow you to advance in technology and increase you galactic population capacity.

There is a hero icon for easy access to Trieron, simple double click to be taken there.
Given enough research new construction options may be available at your original planets.


--Independents
For the Underworld you start off in a new era where the Empire has been defeated and replaced with the New Republic.

As the Zann Consortium your control over the other criminal factions has only just begun. To survive what is to come you will need to bring them to their knees, taking their seat of power from them, which gives you access to their forces.

However beware the New Republic, they won't sit idly by if they are attack and they care not to which faction did the deed.
