Here to help :D

Please try to really describe what the bug is and how is works out. I can't help you with "it is not working". Let me know what you see, what happens and feel free to post log files or screenshots.

In general please make sure everything works as expected. There is a nice troubleshoot guide that you can follow.

Logging
If you are able to activate the logging that always helps. You find the log file normally here:
C:\Users\[YourWindowsUserName]\AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBOAT\output_log.txt
The log will always cleared on every start of the game. During the game is running UBoat will constantly write logs, so use an editor (like notepad++) that can refresh the file on changes or make sure to reopen the log file to see latest informations.

Here the output you can see after game start when the menu is shown:

Deepleaks always uses this pattern on logging:

There are other log lines inside the log file but with the pattern above you see when it is comming from DeepLeaks.

@greenbowl420 I have the same problem - I've got the mod activated in the launcher, but for some reason it won't work unless I unsubscribe and subscribe again in the workshop. I don't have any mods that interact with pump\rebreathers\hullcrush behaviour. I love the idea of mod (it must be a part of the game), but it doesn't work.

That's a good import but I can't download all of these mods and try it out. I tried the Realistic Pump Capacity mod and it was working. You say the mod does not load, I assume you are looking into the logs and don't see a line like:

If you haven't checked the logs now, you probably see much more infos there. As said, on my side both mods were working just finde. It adjusted the trim pump value and this is repected by DeepLeaks. I just uploaded a newer version of the mod, you might try it again. During development I saw many strange behaviors like really the mod does not load. At such points I deleted the mod from uboat (in file explorer) and deployed it again (like subscribe to it again).

Also just experienced this, the mod doesn't load after the initial time you open the game. Unsubscribing and resubscribing fixes it. I moved it to the top of my load order just now, it was at the bottom. We'll see if that helps. I'll report back.

@Virtual Russian, very nice, yes let me know. If you know how to enable the logs, I write some useful information in it. There must be something stopping in from working. If I get that right, you subscribe and start the game, then it is not active? And when you restart the game it is active from then on and stays active?

Unfortunately, the mod doesn't load at all, even if I resubscribe, it's happening with both old and current versions. I've unsubscribed from all the mods I had and started a new game, but it's not working. It would be interesting to know how big the problem is - if there are just a few occasions of the issue, then it's likely to be a local problem on the users' side and the mod is ok. The log is under spoiler.

@ZvezD0cheT: Thanks for the log and I agree there is nothing from DeepLeaks. But also I don't see any other mods logging something. Normally there would be some other mods loggging stuff like

There are no logs of other mods as I've unsubscribed from all the mods to make sure no mod overwrite DeepLeaks' data.

Ok, I now had the same issue, I did lots of restarts and testing. I could solve it by open the mod folder and change a random line of code of the mod (if this is the bug then it has something todo with the file date). Can you try that? Open the mod file:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3383792611\Source\DeepLeaks.cs

and remove the line "using UBOAT.Game.Scene.Audio;" (should be on line 24), just delete the line and save. Then start the game and see if logs from DeapLeaks appear like right in the main menu you should see:

Now the mod loads, but I don't see DeepLeaks text when pointing on pump and there are some errors in the log.

OK, this is so strange, I will further look into this. Regarding your new logs, did you start a new game? If yes, just save and on next load it should work. This is a known bug that on new games it is not initialized properly.

Well, I've got something. At the second launch after deleting the line, I, following your advice, saved and loaded existing new game save and saw no result - I checked the log and saw no mention of the mod. Then I resubscribed and now it seems to work. I will test the game tomorrow and report if something goes wrong.

Now the mod loads with other mods from my modlist, but I have to resubscribe every time before launching the game to make the mod load -- it isn't convenient, but at least it works.

I don't know what that is but for sure I forgot something to add (it is my first mod). I mean, this in very unusual when all the other mods seem to work. I already have an idea, I will soon update the mod and we'll see if that fixes the problem.

By the way it has nothing to do with that specific line. It is just a line I know it is not in use. The important thing is to change anything in the file. Probably works with just add a blank somewhere. It has to do something with the last modification date of the file.

Meanwhile I also updated the mod and added the Preview.png, maybe that was the issue..
