1.6 Plan.
In this post, I will share the current progress on the 1.6 update. Feedback, discussions, and feature requests are all welcome before everything is finalized and stabilized.

To be clear, this mod will not be updated before Prepatcher. And the update will be incompatible with current 1.5 saves.

Major changes:
- Buildable Terrain on Upper Levels

Terrain is no longer automatically generated on upper levels.
Building an upstairs will only generate the terrain directly around it. To expand the buildable area, you'll need to construct foundation (like Substructure.) Foundation can only be built on top of roof of lower levels. Planned foundation includes stony, wooden and substructure (for ship.)

- Multi-floors Gravship.

You need to build GravEngine Amplifier with Gravcore on upper decks to launch it.
Likewise, substructure can only be built within the boundary of GravEngine on the ground and on top of roof.
Normal stairs and elevators might be disabled on ships.
Launching and landing is implemented, but more testing is needed.

- Elevators can transmit power as stairs now.

Small improvements:
- Buildings can now be reinstalled across levels.
- Pawns will now try to find a medical bed on other levels, rather than normal beds on current level.
- Unlisted internal refactoring.

"Terrain is no longer automatically generated on upper levels."
So... the mountain will generate only if I build a foundation? I don't get it, but I hope it's an improvement

If you are talking about the mod option, they will generate with terrains underneath. That one is for building stairs upward.
Looks like it’s almost done? That means we’ll be able to play Multifloor 1.6 soon!:dglove:
Good news ! But to be honest I'm worried about prepatcher, the modder didn't give a sign of life since 1.5, do you plan a other mod requirements or there is no choice ?

Another thing to fix with the upcoming updates in the temperature fix : in B and maybe T floor, temperature stable to 15° i can't not rise more than around 17° even adding lot of heater in a no strair room

I can still cool down a room to -20° no problem, that strange...

It's not a bug. Vanilla set all underground temperature towards 15°C aggressively under thick roof. From my testing 2 heaters can heat up a room with 100 cells to 19°C.

So you mean there is nothing to do ? So shame... I would like to rise temperature to at last 21°

Even in a small room 25 square total i can't hear up !

Then there might be other mods changed that which I can't reproduce in my testing.
I reduced and also remake my mod list, I need to wait 1.6

Btw ! I used wall heater mod for heat up rooms

2 things.

1. How close are we to 1.6?
2. Is the dependency still going to be a thing since it isn't 1.6? I'm not sure if it is being worked on.
