Finishing Touches
I am largely satisfied with the mission and apologize for so many updates. Ideas come to me only after I press upload and then it is a cycle of waiting for the next time I can add one particular thing. I only wish to finish up visuals and practical things like sandbagged windows. Though there is a limit to what is practical to place within the mission editor. Thank you all for playing and I hope to make more missions with heavy historical emphasis soon!:thestar:

When There is a Flak Tower and Zoo I will be placing Flak guns with the hopes that they will be functional for supporting the defenders within the plaza

As an homage to one of my favorite movies, I have included a medic in Volkssturm squads who is based on Ernst-Günther Schenck who is depicted within 'Downfall'. I have an idea to depict the breakout of some holdouts during the May 1st and 2nd, though I am only roughly thinking it out now.

Also I have fixed a major issue within certain buildings. AI may now use placed MGS and get to windows and areas which were not accessible before. Gameplay is otherworldly now and unlike any other mission I have seen on the workshop.

Updated German tanks to better fit reality. There were no Jagdtigers in Berlin. They have now been replaced with a historic representation of one of the two Elephants, and one Hetzer.

Will be adding more visual details and wrecks based on vehicle density of historical pictures. I am also going to work more on a Nordland SS squad to add more historic variety and break up the monotonous COD 3 SS men. The Vanilla SS skins are kind of limited though and there are not many decent options for 1945 SS

Taking awhile to place wrecks and vehicles in areas that can be seen or explored by the player. I am basing these wrecks on historic photos to get the density.

Thanks for 300+ subscribes and Merry Christmas! There are only just a few tweaks I will make within the coming days and possible evening and then I will be starting on my next mission/map project. Volkssturm Tank Hunter bands have had updates to uniforms and a new addition of a Machine Gunner to the Squad armed with a French Mg in the place of a Czech type.

I will update the SS squads soon in order to get a more historic feel as currently the COD 3 uniforms are out of place in Berlin as they are modeled after units from '44 France

Final updates will occur soon as I get some time to play the game more. The mission is largely complete and all phases have had serious testing with AI to see that the correct actions are taken. I have slightly increased the ticket count to make the mission more accessible even if AI do stupid things and waste precious time. This is my best Berlin mission and the one that brings me the most joy to work on.

Sd. kfz 251s have been added in a short number of spawns during the Inner City fighting. These represent counter attacks by desperate troops and also as break out attempts during the worst of the fighting. This mission is probably about as full as I can make it in terms of spawns and in historicity. If there are any other details I can based on real testimony then I will do my best to add them.

Small touches are to come. I am unhappy with the "Flaktower" support and wish to work out a balanced method to allow the Germans to have good firepower while also not letting its AI ruin the chances of some Soviet Armor. Right now AI artillery targets singular targets instead of just plotting down an area for shells to hit. This causes the Flaktower support to immediately target certain tanks instead of firing on the most immediate threats. I will do some playtesting switching out the Kannone with a Nebelwerfer or some other array to give a blanket of fire to push through. Historically the first wave that attacked the monuments area was wiped out by the Flak Tower's fire.

The mission has come a hell of a long way. There are some major things that will be updated soon once more content is in the game. Most notably are the WIP SS uniforms that are greatly missing from this mission. I have tried to work in newer smock uniforms for the Germans in order to make the mission more playable and add variety. I have made use of Alan's MP41R mod to give a feel of Scandinavian SS. Once the newer uniforms are available then I will largely phase out the COD3 uniforms.
