I was playing and a red hanny was taking no magic damage then obliterated me
1. I am on EA 23.61 fix 2 (FOUND AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF MAIN MENU)
2. I have 1230 days on my save.
3. I was shooting a hanny with magic and he one shot me... Not that helpful
3a. I was shooting a Red Hanny with magic and it took no damage, I tried a fire arrow and cold arrow. The hanny killed me in a Level 8 danger Ruin. My companions melee attacks managed to hurt it though. Much better and goes into decent detail.
1. EA 23.61 fix 2
2. 1423 days
3. I dropped a figure of Hanny after killing one of those clay ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It was a green one with a trident. I picked it up and it displays fine in the inventory, but putting it in the world results in just the 'box' being displayed and not the proper statue.
3b. Some hannies SEEM to be getting hurt by Nerve arrow mine is level 30, power 333, the nerve arrow is 4d35+13... there might be some other mods causing that one but reporting just in case - do they have full nerve resistance or just other magic? My Ice arrow of similar power does nothing to them.
Hi Leonardo, I wanted to confirm that the box thing is an issue I'm trying to solve at this very moment. As for the Hannies not having complete magic immunity, I checked the file and they have no nerve resistance but I can easily push a fix to this. I originally excluded some resistances because I haven't tried them myself yet and especially poison. I don't "think" poison should be considered magic...
Hannies right now are immune to :
"Magic"
"Fire"
"Cold"
"Lightning"
"Darkness"
"Mind" types of damage.
Thank you for following the report format, makes it much easier on me.
I skimmed the Alicesoft wiki and re-read parts on the Hannies : "When alive, they have a strange texture between hard and soft, but after they die their dead bodies turn into a ceramic material that can shatter with ease."
As for Abilities and Powers :
"The most notorious abilities of the Haniwa are their unique skill, the Hanny Flash, and their Absolute Magic Resistance. These two abilities are inherent in all the Hannies from the moment they are born, with no exceptions. The Hanny Flash is a fast magical attack capable of ignoring the enemy's defenses, while the Absolute Magical Resistance makes Hannies completely immune to all magical attacks, no matter how powerful. "
Pretty scary enemies and you're right about the nerve damage resistance. Now as for the rest, Since they aren't brittle until after death, sound resistance will probably be a part of the Magic Immunity and I agree with the rest but the acid... I'm not sure yet, I still feel poison/acid is not magical but I'll have to dig into it some more.
I found some monsters whose Japanese names seem to be incorrect.
悲しいカエル→ちゃそば
I like Rance's monsters and have been collecting data on them for a while, so I think I can provide the correct data on the Japanese lines and names.
Please contact me if necessary.
Thank you
