If your issue was that you couldn’t walk on an unfrozen prop, I fixed that tonight. Thanks for the report.
Extremely cool addon, and I think it may be the only one of its kind? I haven't found any others, at least, and this sort of addon is pretty vital to a video I want to make. Based on the description it almost sounds like the muffled sound from being underwater is supposed to go away in the air pocket? Which it does not for me. Also - Is there anyway to get rid of the waviness while in an air pocket? I can see it does apply (or remove ig) some post processing effects when entering the pocket, but it doesn't remove the waviness effect that being underwater puts over your screen.

Those are the two things it's supposed to do apart from movement, I have no idea how the screen overlay effects could change when you're in an airpocket, but not go away entirely apart from interference by other addons. Also, if the sounds aren't muffled, try snd_restart.

Final suggestion: If sound doesn't matter, try localized physics for air pockets.

Alright SO in the interest of science I just recorded a short video with all other addons disabled (I have a pretty meager list in this collection, but probably best to just disable em all for hopefully best results)

https://youtu.be/f-kYyxPB2eY

As you can see in the video, without any other addons, just the airpocket tool itself, it appears to actually change nothing visually, and the sound is still muffled. Which is weird - because with my other addons installed, it does seem to edit the water appearance while inside the air pocket, as you can see from these screenshots here:

I can disable Draw Water to temporarily achieve the effect i'm kind of looking for - still does not unmuffle the audio tho ofc - and then edit around it in post to make it seem a little more "seamless".

The addons I have that I thought may be affecting this (until I disabled them all) are primarily Extended Render, Endiving, and gWeather.

Also, per the description, I've made sure dsp_water is set to 14 although that appears to be the default.

Thanks for the recording, that clears up some things. For your purposes, dsp_water can be set to 0 to disable water muffling, that is what the addon is supposed to do (so you probably want to disable it temporarily for whatever you're doing.)

However, just now I realized that I never tested the addon for singleplayer, so try setting it to multiplayer and I'll try to fix that right now if that is the issue.

EDIT: FIXED IT!!!
