Mod option to disable the nuke?
I get that the questline exists for a reason, but it'd be appreciated to have it as optional.

EDIT: The dev added it. Thanks!

Agreed. Great mod but some might favor a more classic approach without a "mission impossible" type mission.

What Nukes?
After 5-7 day you have to go to military base undeground level and disable nuke, but it's kind of hard, died 2 times on this stage already, hate military with m16.

Yes please. I just want to play project zomboid but watching the outbreak unfold. The nukes are just over the top... I'm playing Project Zomboid, not Fallout. I wish things after that week, turns normalish, like how it is in Project Zomboid. But with some survivors and bandits.

Legit. You can go there early and disable it, but if you don't, you'll get nuked.

Finding out this even exists just killed my motivation to play this past day three. That's kinda something that should be advertised. Base game doesn't involve being nuked. Toggle that ♥♥♥♥. Considering many have Mon-Fri day jobs and really don't want to be bothered with that ♥♥♥♥ for a mod that's advertised as "week one" mod to a game that has no nuke event. I'd love to play it as a playthrough optionally, but right now I literally just want the week before the base game, followed by the base game. Mandatory nuke event, unknowingly, is crazy.

Aside from that, awesome mod.

It's a great idea for a specific playthrough, but yeah toggle would be great. I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doctor!
I understand wanting to have a cool mechanic in-mod but this really should be optional (even if its on by default). Besides, the game at its core is a sandbox you can do literally whatever you like. Tinkering with settings is encouraged, and mods shouldn't be an exception.

I've read somewhere that Slayer already said he's not going to put a toggle for the bomb final event, real bummer tbh, is a good event/quest but not for every play
I really hope they reconsider. It wouldn't even take that much effort imo (having modding experience myself)

At the bare minimum all you'd have to do is slap an if statement dependent on a config value where the nukes start dropping.

On second thought, I just realized I can easily just drop out of lore for a sec, debug my way there, flip it quick, pretend it never happened. So maybe not as bad as I make it seem. But yeah, toggle please! I'm not ready for the military base infiltration type of challenge yet, getting used to these npc's is plenty on it's own lol.

"NO! People have to play by MY mods rules! I want there to be a permanent, cliche, and literally unavoidable event that destroys the sole purpose of a sandbox game!"

But how do you disable it?
On my second attempt, I broke into the command center but couldn't figure out how to disable it since there's nothing to interact with.
